The prerequisite for the gilding of the middle step of the diploma is a nursing degree together with a bachelor's degree in healthcare or health sciences or a specialized nursing degree. The current specialization studies at universities of applied sciences do not qualify for middle-tier gold, because specialization studies are not degrees.
