The design of this magnificent bronze necklace, handmade from patterned and plain rings arranged in alternating groups of five, can be traced back to the 17th century. The name refers to a region in southern Estonia, where women still decorate their traditional festivity costumes with massive chains made in similar fashion. The popular necklace was part of the Kalevala jewelry range from the 1950s till the 2010s. Length 70 cm, no clasp.
