In 1953 a silver trove was found in Kuusamo, northern Finland. Among the items in the treasure was a massive silver pendant in the shape of an axe, exquisitely crafted and finely decorated with engravings and stampings. These light and dainty earrings, launched in the mid-1990s, are only a fraction of the original pendant’s size, but the shape and ornaments have been faithfully reproduced. Width 19 mm, the reverse side is unpatterned. Gold-plated silver hooks.
