The decorative pattern of these bronze earrings was copied directly from a strap divider dating from the late Iron Age. The combination of plant motifs and ribbon winding shows influences from both east and west. The earrings were part of the Kalevala jewelry range from the mid-1980s till the beginning of the 2000s.
