The Viking Age was a prosperous era in Finland, but also a turbulent one. Many valuables -silver coins and jewelry – were buried for safekeeping during this period. The charms on the Treasure chain, part of the Kalevala jewelry range from the late 1980s till the 2010s, were modelled after small pendants found in such treasure troves. Length 70 cm, no clasp.
